Like most websites, FORGE may also collect non-personally identifiable information, such as your computer’s IP address, through technical means. An IP address is often associated with the portal through which you enter the Internet. FORGE automatically gathers, or aggregates, certain usage information, such as the number and frequency of visitors to our website, the length of stay, and other anonymous data, such as topics discussed and areas of importance to users. This data helps us determine usage levels on different parts of our Website, and other useful statistics. In addition, we may aggregate such data and disclose it in a non-personally identifiable manner to donors, sponsors, supporters, and other third parties, to generate support for FORGE, its mission and its services, or as required by law. In these situations, we do not disclose any information that could be used to identify you personally.

FORGE will use your information to process any donation and purchases, and to respond to you, and to fulfill the objectives for which FORGE reasonably believes the information was given. FORGE will not sell the information that you provide to FORGE to third parties. FORGE may share your information with the third party vendors of our organization in order to fulfill the purpose for which the information was given such as FORGE sharing your information with its credit card processing vendor to complete your donation or purchase.

As of the effective date, FORGE uses Classy, Inc. (“Classy”) to manage FORGE’s donation payment processing services. A copy of Classy’s Privacy Policy can be found at the following website address: https://www.classy.org/terms/privacy/.

We share this information with Squarespace so that they can provide website services to us. As you go through checkout, this site may auto-complete your shipping and billing address by sharing what you type with the Google Places API and returning suggestions to you to improve your checkout experience.

Outside of FORGE’s normal business practices, FORGE may be required to disclose your personal information to the government or other legal or regulatory authorities (i) if so ordered by a court of law, or (ii) for other legal reasons, such as (a) to comply with legal process such as a search warrant, subpoena or court order; (b) to protect FORGE’s rights and property; (c) to protect against misuse or unauthorized use of the Website; or (e) in emergencies, such as when we believe someone’s physical safety is at risk. In some cases, disclosure may be required by law to be without notice to you.

In addition to the foregoing FORGE may retain your name and contact information (physical address, mailing address, phone number, and email address) to be added to its donor database which is used exclusively by FORGE to provide past donors and shop customers with updates regarding FORGE’s events and campaigns.
